Tyler Albertario

For over a decade, Tyler has devoted countless hours to the study of LGBTQ+ history, with a particular emphasis on the period of 1950 to 1972. In the course of this work, he has unearthed a litany of long-forgotten chronicles in LGBTQ+ history, which he has begun to self-publish through Medium, as well as pitch to other publications. As a related component of this work, Tyler is currently working on a comprehensive history of the New York Gay Liberation Front. Since 2019, Tyler has also served as a Curriculum Research and Development consultant for History UnErased’s “Intersections and Connections” Curriculum, which provides LGBTQ+-inclusive history and social studies content to the K-12 landscape.
